ST. LOUIS - On a day where the Missouri Baptist and Washington University of Saint Louis men's lacrosse teams honored a Wounded Warrior, the Bears defeated the Spartans, 9-8.

PJ Brueggemann netted two goals and recorded an assist to led Missouri Baptist (7-5, 4-3 GRLC).

Mike Howle and Dan Mossengren blasted two goals each, while Sam Youngblood ripped one goal.

Griffin Trotter scored one goal and had one assist.

Aaron McClintock recorded one assist on the day.

The Spartans will host Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday. Opening faceoff is set for noon.
