ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Baptist Men's Tennis team competed hard in their first outdoor match of the season, but Southeastern outplayed the Spartans, 9-0, in Lakeland, Fla.
The Spartans came up just short at No. 2 doubles as Conner Stevenson and Yann Herve lost a close tie-breaker, 7-5.
In singles, Sean Nanney and Ian Furey lost in super tie-breakers at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively.
The Spartans conclude it's road trip with a match against Webber International on Wednesday. First serve will be at 10:00 a.m. at Webber.
