ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist Men's Tennis suffered 8-1 loss against NAIA competitor Southeastern Univeristy (Fla.)
Doubles partners Sean Nanney and Dylan Walker recorded the only win of the day at doubles No. 3.
Nanney also fought hard at singles No. 6 against SEU, but lost 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.
Southeastern, currently receiving votes in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, had been ranked at 23 just last week.
"Was good to get outside in the heat for the first time this year, especially against such a quality opponent," said Head Coach
Cole Stevenson. "It was a big time adjustment for a team that has been indoors for 5 months. It will get much easier."
Missouri Baptist (1-4) faces off agianst NAIA competitor, Warner University (Fla.) on March 15. First serve is scheduled for 8 a.m.
