ST. LOUIS- [BOX SCORE] Missouri Baptist Women's Volleyball was in Conway, Arkansas on Thursday night to kick off their AMC conference schedule. When the dust settled, the Spartans dismantled the Mustangs of Central Baptist College in straight sets (25-21, 25-12, 25-17).  

MBU was strong in the middle on Thursday night. Tina Medanovic led the Spartans in kills with 14. Freshman Cate Cigarini posted nine kills of her own, to go along with three aces and three block assists.

Mallory Dillon was her usual dominant self, but on this night her biggest contribution came on the defensive side. The All-American led the Spartans with 15 digs. She also also added 10 kills. This was Dillon's 12th consecutive match with double-digit kills.

Reigning two-time AMC Setter of the Week, Megan Huffman, continued her solid play with 28 assists and seven digs.

The Spartans have now won four in a row and move to 12-4 on the season. They'll look to stay hot on Friday night as the road trip continues with a matchup against Freed-Hardeman in Henderson, Tennessee. MBU returns home next Friday night, September 23, with a 7 pm meeting versus Lyon College.
