ST. LOUIS— [BOX SCORE] Missouri Baptist Men's Soccer fell to Central Baptist College in overtime in the AMC Semifinal on Tuesday night.

 The teams played 97 scoreless minutes before Mustang sophomore midfielder Theron Durham finally broke through off an assist from Callum Morris.

The Spartans had the better of the play in the first half but couldn't crack CBC keeper Sam Collins. Ben Boyd led the way with two of the team's three shots on goal. The Mustangs outshot the Spartans 3-1 in the second half.

"The boys put in a great effort tonight," said Head Coach Jake Alvernia. "I thought we asked questions in the first half but the second half was tighter. We're thankful for our seniors as they go into a different chapter in their lives… credit to CBC for their effort and the win."

The Spartans finish the season with a record of 8-11. CBC advances to face Columbia in the AMC Championship.
