SPARTANS ROLL THROUGH LYNX ON SENIOR DAY

ST. LOUIS – [BOX SCORE] The Spartans made their senior day one to remember against Lindenwood-Belleville on Saturday. Missouri Baptist defeated the Lynx 21-0 in their final home game of 2018.
 
MBU started the onslaught early in the first quarter when Devin Mayer scored after 36 seconds of play. Austin Dahl put up four goals in the first which gave him 131 in his career, good for second on the Spartans all-time career goals list. Alex Todd, Andrew Spillars, and Jake DeBeir also scored in the quarter, putting the home team up 9-0 after one.
 
The rout continued into the next three quarters. The men went on to score seven in the second, four in the third, and added one more in the fourth giving them a 21-0 victory.
 
Dahl led the attack with 10 goals and one assist on the day. Todd and Mayer each had three goals while goalie Alex Lauko recorded a save on the only shot put on net.
 
Missouri Baptist men's lacrosse wrap up the regular season on a high note, extending their winning streak to three. The win bumped their 2018 record 8-4 and put them over the .500 mark at home (4-3).
