SPARTANS END SEASON WITH SENIOR DAY VICTORY

ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist women's lacrosse enjoyed a celebration of their seniors and an 11-4 exhibition victory on Saturday.
 
Sophomore midfield Laura Ebers kicked the game off right for the Spartans, scoring her 38th goal of the year at 26:33 in the first half.
 
Washington University came roaring back with two goals to take a lead with 20 minutes remaining.
 
That lead did not last long because MBU rattled off four more goals before the second half. Ebers added two more goals in the first. Grace Adams and Jalia Brooks both contributed one goal each on their way to winning half one 5-2.
 
The women came out in the second half and continued to pour it on. Adams added two more goals, giving her three on the day and 17 on the year. McKenna Fisher caught fire and scored three goals in a 10-minute span. Katie Pilla also added one.
 
The Spartans defeated Washington University 11-4 to wrap up their regular season. They finish the campaign with a record of 7-6, including a 5-1 mark at home.
