ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Missouri Baptist men's volleyball cruised to a 3-0 sweep of the Lincoln College Lynx on Tuesday evening behind 12
Miljan Kastratovic kills and 39 team digs. The Spartans pushed their record to 17-3 on the season and have rebooted a winning streak.
MBU dominated set one, starting with a
Gabe Norsigian kill and ending with a Kastratovic kill followed by a Lincoln attack error. The Spartans took set one with a 25-14 final.
It was more of the same in the second and third sets as they went on to win 25-9 and 25-16 to send the Lynx to their third straight loss. With the win, Missouri Baptist pushed their winning streak to three.
Kastratovic collected 12 kills and hit .550 while
Gabe Norsigian followed close behind with eight kills and a .538 hitting percentage. The reigning Setter of the Week,
Jason Harman, dug six volleyballs and dished out 21 assists. Freshman
Job Faber also got some time setting, collecting 10 assists.
The Spartans are back in St. Louis on Friday afternoon to take on (RV) Briar Cliff and Morningside. Game times are set at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Gymnasium.
