ST. LOUIS – Dragan Omcikus and Filip Petrovic defeated their opponents from Maryville University Monday evening as the Spartans fell 5-2 against the Saints.
 
Omcikus defeated Tom Schmit in straight sets 6-0, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles and Petrovic defeated Erik Aarthun 6-3, 6-4 at No. 4 doubles. The Saints defeated the Spartans 5-2, sweeping the doubles matches and taking the matches at number one, three, five and six singles.

Things won't get any easier for the Spartans as they head to the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational. MBU will play four matches over the weekend with two against ranked opponents. First up for the Spartans will be (RV) Holy Cross on Mar. 31 at 4:00 PM.
