MBU Stunt Brings Home Win Against UT-Tyler

Oklahoma City- This past Friday and Saturday, Missouri Baptist STUNT played in the Oklahoma City University tournament against Texas Woman's, UT Tyler, Dallas Baptist, and OCU. The Spartans brought home a victory win against University of Texas at Tyler but fell to the other three competitors.

Spirit Director Ciara Schott said, "The week leading into the OKC Tournament, MBU STUNT had to change almost every level due to a change in the roster. This is the first tournament for MBU, most teams have already competed in multiple games. I am proud of the athletes for pulling together in the 4 days leading up to game day, making changes, hitting 4 pyramid, and scoring. Seeing the girls come together and step up when there is an injury".
Game 1: V. Texas Women's (D2)

At half-time, MBU was leading 7-3, but due to an injury in Quarter 2, MBU had to switch up jumps and tumbling formation and athletes had to fill in. By the end of the game, TWU took the win (15), MBU (13)
