The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced Samantha DeBeaux and Charlie Hunter as the Bowlers of the Week on Monday, the first weekly awards in Missouri Baptist University program history.

Charles Hunter was selected the Heart Men's Bowler of the Week, while Samantha DeBeaux garnered the Heart Women's Bowler of the Week.

DeBeaux competed at the NAIA Invitational and placed 10th overall. In her five games, she totaled 995 pins, averaging 199 pins per contest.
Hunter also participated in the NAIA Invitational. The sophomore earned a spot on the All-Tournament team after taking 5th place individually. In his five games, he accumulated 1,144 pins, averaging 228.8 pins per game.

The Spartans are back on the lanes on Wednesday, Dec. 18, for the Glenn Carlson Classic in Las Vegas, Nev.
