After opening the 2024 season with back-to-back wins in Ohio and outscoring its opponents 41-1, the Missouri Baptist University STUNT team pushed its winning streak to five with a pair of wins in Glendale, Ariz., and a last-minute addition at nearby Maryville University.

The Spartans shutout host Arizona Christian University in a 23-0 victory. MoBap scored every possible point in the first three quarters, including Quarter Three in which the team performed and scored on a brand-new jumps and tumbling routine. MBU's highest rated player against ACU was Festus, Mo. junior
Kiley Roth with a power ranking of 56 points.

Rounding out the Spartans' quick trip to Arizona was a 23-4 win over Grand Canyon University, a Division I club STUNT team. Once again, MBU eclipsed 20 points, this time scoring every point in the second, third, and fourth quarters. While GCU notched four points in the contest, MBU never lost a point as the Antelopes only tied on routines. Junior
Grace Ketterer recorded the highest power ranking with 54 points.

Upon their return to St. Louis, MBU picked up one more game on the weekend at Maryville against NAIA Missouri Valley College. The Spartans continued their dominance with a 20-point victory over the Vikings. Senior
Sophia Welch paced the Spartans with a power ranking of 45 points in MBU's 21-1 win.

Up next for the Spartans is the University of Tennessee-Martin Tournament. All four of the games will be highly competitive as UT-Martin ranks third in the D1 division, while Ashland University ranks fifth in D2, and Southern Arkansas ranks 14
th in the club division.
