ST. LOUIS - Following a tough loss on Saturday Jaden George won Special Teams Player of the Week for the Heart of America Conference, presented by Musco.

George was called upon by the Spartans multiple times to flip the field with a punt against Cumberland, and he did so four times. He pinned the Phoenix inside their own 10 yard line with a career long 63 yard boot that was downed at the nine yard line.

In his four attempts he averaged just over 40 yards per attempt, and he was the holder for three field goals along with two extra point attempts, all but one going through the uprights.

The Spartans will be back in action when they take on Clarke on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at home.
