ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Missouri Baptist University men's soccer team will be facing #8 William Penn University (Iowa) for the first time in program history on Saturday, Oct. 25, for the Spartans' senior day.
MBU will honor Sean Stone, Matt Parnas, Marko Dordevic, Matthew O'Reilly, Anthony Coppotelli, Cooper Shinn, Mattia Visintainer, Aden Nations, and Keegan Ranney on Saturday during Senior Day in recognition of their dedication and contributions to the men's soccer program.
The Spartans enter the match with an overall record of 4-7-3 and a 3-5-2 mark in conference play. Missouri Baptist University is coming off a 3-0 loss to Clarke University.
William Penn holds a 7-3-4 overall record and is 5-2-3 in conference action. The Statesmen remain undefeated on the road this season. They defeated Clarke 2-0 on Sept. 9 but are coming off a 4-1 loss to Mid-America Nazarene in their most recent contest.
The match is set to kick off at 7 p.m., with Senior Day festivities starting about 20 minutes beforehand. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to honor the Spartan seniors.
