ST. LOUIS — Missouri Baptist University's women's soccer season came to a close Wednesday night with a hard-fought loss in the quarterfinals of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament at Missouri Valley.
Despite a strong defensive effort, the Spartans couldn't find the back of the net, falling 5–0 to the Vikings. Missouri Baptist's back line and goalkeeper held firm through much of the first half before the opposition broke through late. Jordyn Maryas had nine saves. Offensively, Piper Brockmeier gave the Spartans one shot on goal.
The Spartans wrap up their season with a 5-10-3 record (5-6-3 conf.) after battling through a new and competitive schedule.
They return in the fall of 2026 to continue in the Heart of America Conference and bounce back better than ever.
