Spartans Seek Fourth Win in Road Test Against Benedictine

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The Missouri Baptist University women's basketball team will travel to Atchison, Kan. This Saturday, Dec. 13, for a Heart of America Athletic Conference matchup against the Benedictine College Ravens.

The Spartans are coming off their third win of the season after defeating the Yellowjackets of Graceland University, 57–55. The victory improved MBU's overall record to 3–5 while moving them to 3–2 in conference play.

Benedictine currently holds an 8–3 overall record, including a 4–1 mark in conference play. The Ravens enter the matchup on a four-game winning streak, most recently defeating the University of Saint Mary (Kan.) 78–62.

MBU is facing BC for just the third time in program history and is still seeking its first win in the series. The most recent meeting came during the 2017–18 season, when the Spartans fell 76–79.

The Spartans look to secure their fourth win of the season this Saturday before traveling to Lakeland, Fla., for two challenging matchups.
