KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Missouri Baptist University women's volleyball student-athletes
Gabi Jakubowska and
Fernanda Perini earned NAIA All-America recognition, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics on Tuesday. Jakubowska was named to the First Team for the second consecutive year and an All-American for the third, while Perini garnered Second Team honors for the first time.
Jakubowska delivered one of the most productive seasons in the NAIA, playing 126 sets and finishing third nationally with 544 kills (4.32 per set). The junior added 247 digs (1.96 per set) and 100 blocks (0.79 per set). She was recognized as the Heart Player of the Year and a Heart All-Conference First Team selection, while also earning AVCA Midwest Region Player of the Year and AVCA All-Midwest Region First Team honors. Jakubowska was named NAIA Attacker of the Week on Aug. 26, 2025, and collected Heart Attacker of the Week accolades on Aug. 25 and Nov. 3, 2025.
Perini anchored the Spartans at the net throughout the season, appearing in 128 sets. She recorded 273 kills (2.13 per set) while hitting .409, ranking fourth in the NAIA, and posted 167 total blocks (1.30 per set). The middle blocker earned Heart Co-Defender of the Year and Heart All-Conference First Team honors, along with AVCA All-Midwest Region First Team recognition. Perini was also named Heart Defender of the Week four times (Aug. 25, Sept. 1, Sept. 22, Sept. 29, 2025).
