ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Baptist University women's basketball team takes flight this week for two games in Lakeland, Fla., looking to rebound after a road loss in its last outing. 

MBU will open the trip on Friday against Southeastern University. They will close the week on Saturday against Florida Memorial University, which is receiving votes. Both games will provide opportunities for the Spartans to regain momentum as conference play continues. 

Despite the setback in its most recent road game, Missouri Baptist has shown resilience throughout the season, with balanced scoring and defensive effort. The team will aim to tighten execution and improve efficiency on both ends of the floor as it faces two challenging environments away from home. 

Tipoff for the first contest is scheduled for 1 p.m., with the second game also set for 1 p.m.
