COLUMBIA, MO. - Missouri Baptist wrapped up their regular season with a road contest against Columbia, and the Spartans were held to just 32 points as the Cougars swept the season series.
Columbia welcomed the Spartans to their gym by outsourcing Missouri Baptist 29-6 in the first quarter. Missouri Baptist saw their best offensive quarter in the second as they posted 13 points and went into the halftime break down 51-19.
The second half went much like the first as the Spartans only found 13 more points, leading to Columbia's 51 point victory over Missouri Baptist.
Riley Jansen pulled down nine rebounds throughout the game and Sophia Horton tallied 11 points.
Missouri Baptist's record falls to 9-19 (9-13 AMC), and they will be back in action on Friday in the AMC Tournament as the No. 7 seed at Williams Baptist, taking on No. 2 seeded Columbia at noon.
