MBU Football Adds Trace Allshouse as Offensive Line Coach

ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist University head football coach Jason Burianek announced the hiring of Trace Allshouse as the Spartans' new offensive line coach.

Allshouse arrives at MBU following a two-year stint at Florida International University (FIU), where he served as a graduate assistant, working primarily with the offensive line and running backs. During his time at FIU, he helped develop an offensive line that ranked first in Conference USA (Tied No. 34 nationally) in sacks allowed (17) in 2023, a significant improvement from the previous season. He also played a key role in recruiting efforts, focusing on Texas and California junior colleges.

Prior to FIU, Allshouse coached at St. Thomas University (NAIA) in Florida, where he worked exclusively with the offensive line. Under his leadership, the unit produced a Second Team AP All-American, a SUN Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year, and six First Team All-SUN Conference selections over two seasons.

A native of Florida, Allshouse brings championship pedigree to MBU, having played offensive line for Division III powerhouse Mount Union University. During his collegiate career, the Raiders won four Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) championships, made three NCAA playoff appearances, and advanced to the 2018 NCAA Division III National Championship Game. He was a starter at left tackle before an injury ended his 2020 season.

Burianek expressed enthusiasm about the addition to the coaching staff.

"I'm excited to add Coach Allshouse to our staff and our program. He comes with a great pedigree of playing at one of the best programs in the country and has Division I experience as well. I believe he will bring that high standard that we are setting and that we're looking for to the offensive line and the program overall."

Allshouse holds a Master of Science in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in coaching from Mount Union.
