KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2025 All-Conference selections for tennis on Wednesday, with six Spartans earning recognition.
Luca da Silva Ebenriter was named the HAAC Men's Tennis Player of the Year after posting a 14-6 record at the No. 1 singles position. He also excelled in doubles, compiling a 16-4 mark alongside partner Sebastian Junghanns at the No. 1 spot. Ebenriter ended the regular season on a five-match win streak in both singles and doubles.
On the women's side, Polina Agapitova was named the Freshman of the Year. She recorded an 11-4 singles record, going 2-3 at No. 1, 7-1 at No. 2, and 2-0 at No. 3. In doubles, Agapitova went 10-7 overall, including a perfect 10-0 mark when paired with Mariana Azevedo.
First Team All-Conference
Ebenriter, Junghanns, Agapitova, and Yvonne Shannon were all selected to the First Team All-Conference list.
Junghanns posted an 8-6 singles record at No. 3 and went 16-4 in doubles with Ebenriter. Shannon recorded an 11-7 singles record and went 8-9 in doubles.
Second Team All-Conference
Jocelynn Carmody and Azevedo received Second Team All-Conference honors for their efforts in 2025.
Carmody led the Spartans in singles victories with a 13-6 record and added eight doubles wins. Azevedo also finished with a strong 13-7 overall singles mark and contributed to the doubles lineup throughout the season.
