MBU Men’s Tennis Set to Face No. 11 UNOH in NAIA First Round

MOBILE, Ala. – No. 22 seed Missouri Baptist University men's tennis is set to square off against No. 11 seed University of Northwestern Ohio on Tuesday in the first round of the 2025 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship.

The winner will advance to face No. 6 seed Lindsey Wilson College on Wednesday in Round 2.

MBU (16-7)
The Spartans make their second-ever appearance at the national tournament and their first since 2016. MBU enters with a 16-7 record and momentum after a run to the Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament Championship match.

Luca da Silva Ebenriter leads the Spartans with a five-match winning streak in singles and holds a 14-5 record at the No. 1 position.

Five Spartans have recorded double-digit wins in singles this season:

In doubles play, Ebenriter and Sebastian Junghanns lead the way with a 16-4 record at No. 1 doubles. The tandem of Tokmakov and Radanovic holds a 12-7 record at No. 2.

The Racers enter the national tournament with a 17-5 record and winners of the WHAC Championship. UNOH rides a nine-match winning streak into the opening round.
