Five Spartans Earn Heart All-Tournament Team Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Men's and Women's Tennis All-Tournament Teams on Wednesday afternoon, with five Missouri Baptist student-athletes earning honors.

Men's Tennis
MBU men's tennis advanced to the tournament final, sweeping John Brown University and Texas Wesleyan University by identical 4-0 scores before narrowly falling to William Woods University, 4-3, in the championship match.

Luca da Silva Ebenriter, Strahinja Radanovic and Lucas Kzam were named to the All-Tournament Team.

Ebenriter finished the tournament 2-0 in both singles and doubles play. Radanovic went 2-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles, while Kzam posted a 2-0 singles record and went 2-1 in doubles action.

Women's Tennis
On the women's side, the Spartans also reached the tournament final after defeating Grand View University 4-0 and edging Texas Wesleyan 4-3, before falling to William Woods 4-1 in the title match.

Polina Agapitova and Jocelynn Carmody were selected to the All-Tournament Team.

Agapitova went 2-0 in singles and 1-2 in doubles, while Carmody posted a 3-0 doubles record and went 1-1 in singles throughout the tournament.
