ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Baptist University men's soccer team will play two matches on home turf this week. The Spartans face Harris-Stowe State University on Wednesday at 7 p.m., followed by a key conference matchup against Benedictine College (Kan.) on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. Saturday will be the first conference match for the Spartans in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
MBU will look to add another victory over the Hornets, holding a 14-4-3 all-time advantage against Harris Stowe. Although not a conference matchup, the game will serve as valuable preparation for MBU's upcoming clash with Benedictine.
On Saturday, the Spartans square off against the Benedictine Ravens in a battle to claim a conference win. MBU is still seeking its first-ever win over Benedictine and its first-ever HEART win. Saturday's contest offers another chance to break through.
Both contests are set to take place at Spartan Field, right at the heart of MBU.
