KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Missouri Baptist Women's Volleyball climbed one spot to No. 9 in the latest First National Selection Committee NAIA Top 25 Poll. The Spartans hold an 18-2 record and remain undefeated in conference play.

MBU is riding an 11-match winning streak, having not lost since August. The Spartans have been dominant during that stretch, earning straight-set victories in nine of those matches.

That success is reflected in several national statistical rankings. Missouri Baptist ranks second in blocks per set (2.52), fourth in opponent hitting percentage (.087) and seventh in assists per set (12.44), highlighting the team's strength at the net and offensive efficiency.

Individually, freshman setter Martina Ligabue ranks third nationally in assists per set (10.87), while Fernanda Perini ranks fifth in blocks per set (1.36). Libero Julia Reis Pereina anchors the back row, ranking 15th in digs per set (5.22).

The remaining schedule offers the Spartans an opportunity to strengthen their national standing, including a matchup with conference rival No. 25 Benedictine next week. The Ravens share MBU's 18-2 record, setting the stage for a contest that could help shape the conference title race.

The Spartans will look to extend their winning streak tomorrow against MidAmerica Nazarene University.
