ATCHISON, Kan. – Missouri Baptist University women's basketball fell 83-60 to Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan., in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Quarterfinals. The Spartans end their season at 13-14 overall and 12-8 in the Heart.
Four scored in double digits for MBU, including

Abigail Williams (10), and
Orian Anderson (10). In total, the team shot 34.5 percent from the floor (19-for-55) and 37.5 percent from deep (9-for-24).
Riley Bruggeman led the way for the Ravens with a double-double, including 27 points, 11 rebounds, and six steals. Makayla Baughman added 14 points, and Kyla Fitzgerald posted another 13.
Missouri Baptist kept the game within five points after the first half at 20-15. Benedictine shot 50 percent from the floor in the first quarter and pulled away with five threes in the second quarter to make it 40-28.
The Ravens held a slight advantage in the third and closed the door on a Spartan comeback in the fourth on 50 percent shooting and 3-for-4 from deep.
