Riley Jansen was named to the Heart of America Athletic Conference Second Team, the conference announced Thursday.

All-conference teams and postseason award winners are selected by the league's head coaches.

The Bartelso, Ill., native had a career year for the Spartans, averaging 13.8 points per game (PPG), 7.2 rebounds per game (RPG), and tallying 21 total steals.

Jansen played a key role in the Spartans' six-game winning streak that propelled them into the Heart Tournament to close out the regular season. From Feb. 4-21, she led the team in scoring at 15.8 PPG and finished second on the team in rebounds at 7.3 RPG.

Her top performance came Nov. 15, 2025, at home against Clarke University, when she scored 27 points on 12-of-20 from the field (.600), including 12 rebounds, and three steals.

MBU finished the season at 13-14 overall and12-8 in the conference under first-year head coach Taylor Jacobsen.  The Spartans entered the Heart Tournament as the seventh seed and fell to second-seeded Benedictine College in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
