ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Baptist University women's basketball team continues conference play this week with a two-game slate, opening the stretch on the road Wednesday before returning home Saturday.
The Spartans enter the week looking to build momentum as they navigate a balanced schedule that tests them on the road before a key home-court matchup at the Carl & Deloris Petty SRC.
Missouri Baptist hits the road Wednesday for a matchup at William Woods University, where the Spartans will look to stay sharp defensively and control tempo. The Owls enter the week at 2-18, 2-13 in conference. They are led by senior guard Jersee Wren, averaging 15.3 per game.
The Spartans return to St. Louis on Saturday to host Baker University, welcoming the Wildcats for a home contest as conference play continues. Missouri Baptist will look to take advantage of offensive opportunities as Baker comes in at 3-17 overall. Gabbie Rose is their feature player, averaging 15.2 points per game.
