QUINCY, Ill. — Missouri Baptist University men's tennis remained unbeaten Saturday afternoon, earning a 5–2 road victory over Quincy University to improve to 4–0 on the season in Quincy, Illinois.
The Spartans claimed the doubles point by winning two of three matches. Missouri Baptist earned victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, while Quincy picked up the win at No. 1.
In singles play, Missouri Baptist secured wins at the top two positions as well as at No. 4 and No. 5. The Hawks recorded victories at No. 3 and No. 6, but the Spartans did enough to clinch the overall decision.
Missouri Baptist returns to action Saturday, Feb. 14, hosting Marian University at 6:30 p.m. at Vetta West Racquet Sports.
