MARION, Ind. — Missouri Baptist University men's tennis earned a dominant 4–0 victory over Lawrence Tech on Friday.
The Spartans improved to 14–3 on the season with today's win.
Missouri Baptist set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches to claim the opening point. The top duo of Luca Ebenriter and Sebastian Junghanns earned a 6–3 win at No. 1, while Strahinja Radanovic and Arkhip Tokmakov secured a 7–6 victory at No. 2. Ruslan Anurev and Omar Farahat completed the doubles sweep with a 6–3 win at No. 3.
In singles play, the Spartans quickly closed out the match with three straight-set victories. Ruslan Anurev cruised to a 6–1, 6–3 win at No. 3, while Arkhip Tokmakov dominated 6–1, 6–0 at No. 5. Luca Ramini sealed the victory for Missouri Baptist with a 6–3, 6–1 triumph at No. 6 to clinch the match.
Several other matches went unfinished with the Spartans in strong positions. Ebenriter led at No. 1, Samuel Sanchez held an advantage at No. 4, and Radanovic was battling at No. 2 when play was halted following the clinch.
