Griffin Jasin

Griffin Jasin begins his first season as a graduate assistant on the Missouri Baptist men’s lacrosse staff in 2022-23. He will serve as goalkeeper coach while also assisting on defense.

While attending Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts, Jasin jumpstarted his coaching career with Bill Pilat’s “The Goalie School“ camps and coaching with Catamount Lacrosse Club.

The St. Charles, Mo. native, wrapped up a successful collegiate playing career at Nichols in 2021. After playing sparingly as a freshman and sophomore, Jasin earned a spot in the starting lineup in 2020 and started all six games before COVID-19 hit. In his first collegiate win, Jasin made 15 saves against Rivier University and collected a season-high 20 saves at Western Connecticut State University.

Named a captain his senior season (2021), Jasin started all 11 games between the pipes. The Bison goalie ranked third in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) in saves with 131. Jasin recorded a career-high 23 saves at Endicott College and had another busy day against the Gulls turning aside 20 shots on goal in the season finale.

During his time at Nichols, Jasin helped lead the Bison fundraising efforts for the HEADstrong Foundation, a charitable, non-profit organization that offers financial, residential, and emotional support to families affected by cancer.

Before heading to the East Coast for college, Jasin attended Chaminade College Preparatory School, where he was an All-State selection in 2017 with 116 saves. Jasin helped Chaminade defeat De Smet for the first time in 5+ years, leading to the first and only finals appearance in program history.
