The MBU women's soccer team split a pair of American Midwest Conference games last week to conclude the first round of AMC match-ups. The Lady Spartans head into the second half of the season tied for third with Hannibal-LaGrange College. Both teams are 2-2-1 in the AMC, with the tie coming when they faced each other. MBU is 5-6-1 overall.
The Lady Spartans picked up their win of the week over William Woods University in Fulton, Mo. on Tuesday. The Lady Spartans beat the Lady Owls 4-1. Scoring one goal apiece for MBU were senior

Michelle Smith (St. Louis/SLCC-Meramec) split time at the net for the win.
The Lady Spartans will face Harris-Stowe State University for the second time in AMC play on Thursday, October 15th at 1:00 p.m. at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex.
