The MBU men's basketball team dropped to 2-4 with a 64-75 loss to Lindenwood University in St. Charles on Tuesday.
The Spartans were within striking distance of the Lions the entire game. They trailed 25-33 at the half, but were within two buckets much of the second half. It was around the 3:00 mark in the second half, when the Lions widened their lead and maintained control to take the 75-64 win.

Kyle Hubbard added 17 points. The Spartans shot 37.9% from the field, 39.1% from three-point range, and 75% from the foul line. The Lions devastated the Spartans on the boards, out-rebounding MBU 45-22.
Missouri Baptist will be on the road this weekend, as they travel to the Culver-Stockton College Classic in Canton, Mo. The Spartans will face the host Culver-Stockton at 7:30 p.m on Friday night. They will then play Ashfor University (Iowa) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
