The MBU men's soccer team suffered a loss in its only outing of the week last week, losing to AMC opponent Harris-Stowe State University 2-4 in St. Louis on Wednesday.
Finding the back of the net for the Spartans were senior Saul Bush (England), and junior Ryan Harris (Alton, Ill./Lewis & Clark CC). Sophomore Karl Russel (Ireland) earned two assists. 
 
With the loss, the Spartans drop 4-6 overall, 0-2 in the American Midwest Conference. They host AMC opponent Columbia College on Tuesday, September 29th at 7:00 p.m. at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex.
