ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Baptist men's soccer team could not find the victory, as they battled Harris-Stowe to a 0-0 tie. The tie moves MBU's record to 6-3-2 on the season and 2-2-1 in AMC play.
Greg Kranz made his second start in net for the Spartans. He made six saves through both halves and two overtime periods. In the first half, he stopped two Hornet shots. He made three saves in the second half and one in the first overtime period.
Offensively, the Spartans had nine shots on goal. Brendan Dwyer led the squad with three shots on goal. Oscar Rojas pitched in with two shots on goal.
Missouri Baptist travels to Hannibal-LaGrange on Saturday in a big AMC match. The Spartans are currently in fifth place in the conference standings and Hannibal-LaGrange is in third place.
