ST. LOUIS- The Missouri Baptist men's soccer team was limited to just one shot and fell to Hannibal-LaGrange 2-0 in the AMC tournament quarterfinals. The Spartans end the season 9-6-3.
Hannibal-LaGrange scored once in each half, both on goals by Mario Ferrero. The Trojans took a 1-0 lead 37:02 into the first half and HLG had a 7-1 shot advantage in the half. Joe Wonsewith had the lone shot for MBU.
The second half was all Trojans, as they outshot MBU 13-0, two of which were on goal.
Corbin Rodriguez made three saves on the game for the Spartans.
