Missouri Baptist held the Avila University Eagles to two goals on Saturday, but surrendered two consecutive goals in a 2-1 loss at home on Saturday.

Missouri Baptist (0-6-2) struck first blood as Ryan Krupp put the first goal of the game on the board, but MBU could not hold the lead in the second half. The Eagles own Matheus Costa and Louis Gallagher scored in the second half to make the final score 2-1. 

MBU finished the game with one goal and ten shots with two on goal.

On September 24, 2014, the team will be traveling to Lyon College to face the Scots at 3:00 p.m.
