Missouri Baptist men's soccer had another tough day at the office on Wednesday. The team was shut-out for the fourth time in 2014 on the road at Lyon College in a tough 1-0 defeat.
Missouri Baptist (0-7-2) looked to break out of its scoring slump, but was unable to get the momentum in the game. The game remained tied 0-0 unitil the Scots' Abdullah Adam scored the lone goal in the 83rd minue to ice the game for the home team..
Missouri Baptist finished with seven shots, four of which were on goal while the Spartan defense remained busy. The Scots fired 24 shots in the contest, though just seven made it to MBU goalkeeper Zach Koeller. The junior goalkeeper finished the day with six saves.
MBU will try to rebound for its first win of the season when it will travel to William Woods on Tuesday, September 30. Game time will be scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
