ST. LOUIS – [BOX SCORE] The Missouri Baptist women's volleyball team closed out the Grand View Fall Classic with a sweep (25-19, 25-20, 25-20) of the host team, No. 25 Grand View University on Saturday.
The Spartans (26-3, 8-0) were off to a solid start for a set one win. MBU recorded its highest hitting percentage of 0.455.
Missouri Baptist carried the momentum from the first set into the second set. The Spartans held the Vikings to their lowest hitting percentage of 0.057.
MBU remained in control of the match and posted the set three win and recorded 19 kills to Grand Views 12 kills in the set.
Outsides Mallory Dillon and Taylor Cook led the team with 14 and 10 kills respectively.
Ally Krus fed the offense with 35 assists in the set for an average of 11.67 assists per set.
Missouri Baptist will take to court at home for the final time in the regular season on Monday, Oct. 19 to honor their eight seniors.
