THE GAME: Missouri Baptist University will play its second game of the 2015 season and its first MSFA Conference game against Siena Heights (Mich.) on Sept. 12, 2015 in Ann Arbor, Mich. The game will be the first Mid-States Football Mideast game as a full member of the conference.  

SEARCHING FOR IMPROVEMENT: Missouri Baptist Football allowed 28 first-half points on Saturday, August 29 at home in a 48-7 loss to the Bethel University Wildcats. MBU allowed over 500 yards of total offense in the game, but recorded its first touchdown of the season in the first half with a two-yard pass from Jordan Norwine to Quinton Kornegay.

SIENA HEIGHTS: The Siena Heights air attack looked strong in the season opener at Lindenwood-Belleville on Saturday. Quarterback Nick Gilliam threw five touchdown passes in the game (SHU Record), two to wide receiver Aaron Doriot. Gilliam was pressed into service after Travis Zajkowski was ruled ineligible during pregame.

Gilliam threw for 362 yards in the air, 165 of which were to Doriot (SHU Record). The duo looked impressive in the season opener, so look for the two to try and connect again.

Reggie Blackmon will also be a pass-catching threat. The senior from Ft. Wayne, Ind. caught four passes for 82 yards and a touchdown.

FOR THE RECORD: Jordan Norwine was knocked-out of the game with an injury for the second-consecutive time as a starter... Quinton Kornegay saw his first action as a Spartan and grabbed a two-yard touchdown in the first-half of the game vs. Bethel... MBU allowed 362 yards of rushing in the season opener, but limited the Bethel passing attack to 167 yards in the air.
