Missouri Baptist (2-6, 2-2 MSFA) at #4 St. Francis (7-1, 4-1 MSFA)
THE GAME: Missouri Baptist University will play the ninth game of its 2016 schedule on Saturday, October 29 at 1:00pm when they face the St. Francis (Ind.) Cougars in Fort Wayne, Ind.
GETTING BACK ON TRACK: Missouri Baptist's struggles on the offensive side of the ball reared its head once again against St. Ambrose. The Spartans were held to under 70 rushing yards on 31 attempts while MBU deployed three quarterbacks into the game.
POSITIVE OUTLOOK: After spending the previous week on the sideline due to an injury, Kendall Davis put together a nice day. The freshman rushed 10 times for 54 yards in the game.
Isaiah King also had a nice return to the lineup after injury last week. The freshman pulled down four receptions for 79 yards.
SCOUTING ST. FRANCIS: The Cougars are one of the most dominant teams in the NAIA. With just one loss to the runaway No. 1 team in the nation, St. Francis is making strides for another National Championship Berth.
St. Francis has been ranked in the Top Five in the NAIA Poll 11 consecutive times, including this week. The team is led by the big passing attack of Nick Ferrer. The junior has 25 touchdowns on the year and has already eclipsed the 2,000 yard mark with over 2,300 yards of passing.
His primary target, Seth Coate, has 10 touchdown receptions and will go over 800 yards in receiving with a solid game on Saturday.
