ST. LOUIS – [RESULTS] The Spartans six seniors led the team to a 40-7 victory over MacMurray College Wednesday night on Senior Night.

Anissa Rodriguez, Cheyenne Youngblood, Lindsey Villarmia, Montana Drum, Amanda Prough and Sarah Bollinger-Wajner were all honored before the dual. All six have reached All-American status at least once during their careers at MBU.

After three matches, the Spartans led 10-5 thanks to two forfeits. Tam Tillman then put MBU in charge with a 10-0 tech fall win before the seniors took over. Youngblood, Villarmia, Drum, Bollinger and Prough all dominated to push the team to a 35-7 lead.

Youngblood and Drum both won by tech fall, 10-0 and 11-0 in routes. Villarmia and Bollinger won by major decisions, 15-3 and 12-1 to continue the strong night. Prough pinned her opponent for five additional points. The Spartans won the final match by forfeit.

The Spartans will next compete at the Wayland Baptist Invitational this weekend.
