Box Score ST. LOUIS – [BOX SCORE] The Missouri Baptist offense fell silent in the team's 1-0 loss to Grace College Saturday night.
The Lancers found the net in the 58th minute to break the scoreless tie. Meredith Hollar scored the only goal of the game with a strike from right outside the box. For the game, Grace College outshot MBU 9-3.
That total went 5-1 in the Lancers favor in the first half. Goalkeeper Alex Lair stopped everything in her sight to keep things knotted up heading into halftime. Junior Haylee Eastridge registered all three shots for the Spartans in the game, including the one first-half shot.
Missouri Baptist (2-3) now looks toward conference play. They'll return to action on Tuesday, September 13 against William Woods. The match is set to start at 5:00 pm.
