ST. LOUIS—[FINAL RESULTS] The Missouri Baptist Men's Indoor Track squad started their 2018 season at the Snow Bird Open in Jacksonville, Ill on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans scored 39 team points to finish eighth of 20.
Elijah McNairy was the top point producer on the day for MBU. The sophomore placed first in the 60m High Hurdles with a time of 8.43 seconds.
Adam Vincent placed third in the Pole Vault. The freshman also set an MBU Indoor Record in his first collegiate event with a vault of 4.34 meters.
Junior Tremaine Bobo finished second in the Triple Jump. Out of four attempts, Bobo's best distance was his first jump of 13.44m.
Robert Grider took fourth in 200m Dash with a time of 23.39. Grider also contributed for the Spartans' 4x200m Relay team along with George Martin, Tailon Leitzsey, and Ross Blakley. The foursome ran the relay in 1:33.70, narrowly second to Truman St (1:33.57).
The Men's Indoor Team is back in action next weekend at Principia College in Elsah, Ill.
