FOURTH QUARTER COMEBACK PUTS MBU BACK ON TRACK

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Men's Lacrosse team is back to their winning ways after defeating (RV) St. Ambrose by four goals. With the win, the Spartans advance to a record of 4-2.

St. Ambrose's Matt Romero quickly put the Fighting Bees on the board with a goal, just seconds into the game. Devin Mayer responded with a goal for the Spartans, but Romero quickly struck back with another one for SAU. The Bees put in one more goal before the end of the quarter, leading by two.

In the second quarter, the Spartan offense managed to find their groove as Austin Dahl and Alex Todd tied things up. Once again, however, SAU was right behind them. The Spartans headed into halftime facing a one-point deficit.

Things continued in the Bees favor in the third quarter as they quickly extended their lead (5-3). Mayer put another one in the net, but just like before, SAU answered back with another goal of their own. Mayer managed to put in two more before the end of the period (8-6).

The fourth period was do-or-die for MBU as they hit the field with adrenaline running high. The Spartan offense started hammering out goals, eventually putting them well in the lead. MoBap managed to crank out eight goals in the fourth period versus SAU's two, allowing them to take the win, 14-10.

Jaxon Haas and Devin Mayer led the way for MBU, each scoring four goals, and earning two and one assists, respectively.

Dahl raked up a team-leading nine groundballs, and also scored two for MBU. Robert Ates finished the day with six saves.

The Spartans are back at home on Friday, March 30. They take on the University of Saint Mary at 1 pm.
