Batesville, ARK. – Missouri Baptist women's soccer played to a scoreless draw with Lyon College (Ark.) on Saturday afternoon. The result extended the Spartans' unbeaten streak to seven games.
It was as if the Spartans were looking in the mirror on Saturday as they went toe to toe with the Scots. After 90 minutes and two sudden death OT periods, the two evenly matched sides could not find a breakthrough.
MBU did win the shots on goal battle 7-5.
Jemica Artillaga played the first half in goal for the Spartans and made four saves.
Brooklynn Hamman played the rest of the match and stopped the Scots' only try on target.
