ST. LOUIS—Women's lacrosse finished up their time in Georgia on Saturday morning. They took on Reinhardt University, facing a tough loss to the No. 7 ranked team.
The Eagles wasted no time, as they quickly moved past the Spartan defense to score within the first 30 seconds. They managed to put eight more past MBU before
Jordan Haeusser put MBU on the board (9-1). The Spartans faced a 12-point deficit heading into halftime.
The Spartan defense picked up in the second half, however, the Eagles continued to push.
Meredith Linn put another goal in for MBU, but the Eagles would prove to be too much. The Spartans fell, 20-2.
Junior
Kaitlin Mills led the Spartans, picking up six ground balls. The goalie also recorded a season-high of 17 saves.
Missouri Baptist returns home on Saturday, March 16. They take on Bethel College at Spartan Field at 10 a.m.
