MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – MBU Women's Golf finished seventh at the 'WBU Battle at Big Creek' in Mountain Home, Ark. on Tuesday. The 36-hole, two-day event was contested on the Natural State Golf Trail at Big Creek Country Club – a 5,807-yard par-72.
For the third consecutive event this spring, junior
Jessica Caraker led the way for the Spartans. The Columbia, Mo. native posted rounds of 86 and 88 for another Top-16 finish – the fifth of her three-year career.
Caraker was followed by
Carlie Van Patten in a tie for 30
th (95-100),
Taylor Stimpson in solo 33
rd (108-99), and
Maclovia Stubblefield in solo 34
th (107-102).
The Spartans will continue to gear up for the AMC Championship on May 10 and 11
th when they travel to Olathe, Kan. next week for the Baker Spring Invite.
