COLUMBIA, Mo. – The ride finally ended for MBU Men's Soccer on Friday night in Columbia. The Spartans were defeated 1-0 by top-seeded Cougars, the third ranked team in the NAIA, in the AMC Championship game.
The Spartans were held to just one shot on goal which didn't arrive until the final seconds of the match as Columbia executed an airtight defensive plan all night.
The only goal of the game came from the foot of CC senior Parker Moon in the 28

Missouri Baptist will now wait to see if they are selected to the NAIA Opening round with a record 10-5-1.
