On Friday (Nov. 17) 11 representatives from the Missouri Baptist University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams will compete in the NAIA National Championships at the Fort Vancouver Historical Course in Vancouver, Wash.
This will be the fourth year in a row that the teams will be representing MBU at this event.
The Women's Cross Country team won their first team title since 2016 at the AMC Women's Cross Country Championships to earn an automatic bid to the national competition.
The women's race will be made up of 88 individual qualifiers, 24 automatic qualifiers, 11 at-large berths, and one host berth.
Men's cross country runners, Donovan Denslow and David Fletcher earned themselves two spots at the NAIA championships because of their impressive performances at the AMC Men's Cross Country Championships.
This year's field for the men is comprised of 85 individual qualifiers, 23 automatic qualifiers, 12 at-large berths, and one host berth.
